This webinar will describe and promote USDA funding opportunities for state-level Farm to CACFP work. This type of work is focused on policy, systems and environment changes to support long-term Farm to CACFP. This type of statewide Farm to CACFP work includes, building Farm to CACFP training opportunities for ECE professionals, creating Farm to ECE resources or websites to help ECE professionals in their states, connecting ECE sites, staff and families to local farmers, and many other strategies. The focus of the webinar will be USDA funding sources from the Community Food Systems Division and Agricultural Marketing Service at USDA. The webinar will help clarify some of the more complicated aspects of the potential USDA grants and their respective application processes; and demystify applying for these USDA grants for those who have not applied for them in the past.
