Practically Perfect Parfaits

Parfaits are a great item for breakfast or grab & go. Healthy, fruity, colorful and delicious - the possible combinations are endless and kids enjoy the variety. In this training you will learn simple techniques to produce beautiful parfaits, and maybe get a little creative too!

OBJECTIVES

  • Develop culinary skills necessary for school meal preparation.

    • Demonstrate healthier cooking methods that apply the principles of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

    • Apply techniques and ingredients to create parfaits that are healthy, delicious and popular with students.
