The Student Engagement 101 Workshop, led by Rachel Mewes and Raquel Vigil, will establish basic understandings about what student engagement is and why it is important. The workshop will combine information from the Edible Schoolyard Student Engagement Workbook, break-out room discussions, a group Padlet activity, and a Q & A section to explore the topic of student engagement and share best practices for the kitchen and garden classrooms.
