Ashley Heller- Indiana Department of Education
Ashley Heller is a School Nutrition Specialist with the Indiana Department of Education, School and Community Nutrition Division. Ashley has been a part of the Training and Resource Development Team on the school nutrition programs side of the division for four years. On this team, Ashley works with special dietary needs, training development and implementation, resource creation, wellness policies, farm to school, helping onboard new SNP sponsors, professional standards hiring requirements, the CNPweb, and more. Ashley loves getting to help assist schools in obtaining clarity in how they can best run their programs and make a lasting impact on their students through nutrition.
Laura Dodds, MPA - Purdue University Cooperative Extension
Laura Dodds currently serves as the County Extension Director in Marion County, one of the 92 County Offices of Purdue University Cooperative Extension Services. Ms. Dodds represents Purdue Extension as a member of various community boards and committees, serving as one of the Farm to School liaisons for the organization. Ms. Dodds has a master’s degree from Indiana University in non-profit management and is currently a Ph.D candidate in their American Studies program focused on nutrition and agriculture programs in K-12 schools. Ms. Dodds lives in Broad Ripple with her husband, teenage twins, and a menagerie of furry friends.
